The Goddess 2006		I have decided to represent her as she is today, with a slim-body, dry and arid. The sand texture I used in the body reflects human disrespect to mother nature, the result of global environmental degradation. The solitary all-seeying represents her divinity that persists in spite of her pains. The vulva symbolizes life creation, a world given birth by a gigantic vagina.
Hands 2006		She is tense, defensive, as if threatened by a stranger who surprised her exposed in her nakedness. But she is not frightened, only a little jumpy, and you can guess she will relax a few moments later, for the stranger is not really someone she distrusts.
